Program Monitor Video Quality – Keyboard Shortuct
OK, this is driving me crazy.
There appears to be a ‘hidden’ keyboard shortcut that I can’t remove or change.
With the program monitor selected, if you press CMD 4, then it changes the video quality from FULL to 1/4 or if you press CMD 2, then it changes to 1/2.The problem is that for multi-cam editing, CMD 4 is ‘cut to camera 4’ and CMD 2 is ‘cut to camera 2.’
On occasion, I’ll end up having the program monitor selected and when I press CMD 4, nothing happens except the video quality changes.
However, if the program monitor window is selected and I press CMD 5 or CMD 1, then it does what I would expect it to do.
Anyone know how to remove the shortcuts for the display quality?

Edit them in Keyboard Shortcuts, they’re listed under Program Monitor>Program Monitor Panel>Playback Resolution. These, so far as I know, are not defined by default but you can remove or reassign them easily.

So that’s where they live. I was unable to find them.
What’s odd is that the ‘search’ function in the Keyboard Shortcuts does not work properly.
I put in Playback, and those options did not show up.
