Production Assistant – Batch Question
Posted by Jay Mitchell on September 12, 2010 at 6:28 pmTrying to batch process each file individually with 2 overlays and a video effect > timecode > time & frames. The goal is to save this as a preset. However, I can’t find a way to add the video effect to the PA process list. Is this possible?

Not in version 1 but it has been announced as a new feature in version 2.

September 12, 2010 at 11:25 pmJohn,
I also use audio watermark overlays when rendering certain projects. PA 1 would not let me add a audio overlay file. Will this become available?
For today – I have been trying to add the audio watermark overlay on the timeline and the Timecode Fx to see if PA will add them to the batch render. Not working for me. Is there a workflow that I can use right now to batch render with the image overlay as a process and adding the timecode / time and frames as well as audio OL on timeline separately with PA 1?
If so – I need the workaround asap.
Thanks,
Jay

I have never heard of an audio watermark so no, it’s not something we have planned.

Not that I can think of. When batch rendering multiple files, PA starts with a new project so there is no way to preload anything into that project and PA1 has no way to add a Video FX like timecode. That’s been added to PA2 (but that doesn’t help you now, I know).
