ProCache 5 operating loudness – fans always full blast?
We have a ProCache 5 unit on demo loan – pretty sure we want to purchase.
I’m just getting into the manual and I’ve had it powered up for a little over and hour. I have mounted a tape and ejected the tape to familiarize myself with it, but that’ about it.
Each time I’ve gone into that room I’ve noticed the system fans seem to be on overdrive, and it’s operating quite loudly even just idle. The one fan above the power cable even seems to be almost buzzing/whirring. My reseller confirmed that it does operate loudly.
Should I be worried that this unit is defective, or do all units behave like this?
