We shot a video for the coast guard and we needed shoulder boards for their unforms – turns out the ones provided are incorrect – there are 2 yellow bars on a blue background and the 2 yellow bars are too far apart – the coast guard guys picked it out immediately so we need to fix it – i was gonna try and duplicate layer, and mask out the top layer so only the yellow bar is visible and move it closer – but there are alot of quick pans and zooms so this thing is gonna be tough regardless – are there any solutions that might be better?
    thanks alot!

You could try paint or vector paint along with some creative masking. I did this on a spot a while back to essentially rubber stamp out some power lines. But I had a still shot with minimal motion. Otherwiseit sounds to be a frame by frame tedious task u have before you.

Thank you so much Dave and Chuck – I appreciate the feedback – what I’m going to attempt is 1 option and like you said , reshooting is another (although very costly) option – i should know after a few hours whether or not I can pull this off – again, your responses are much appreciated –
