I have to write some text in Spanish for a video. I made some templates in motion to speed up my work, since it’s the same template for English and Spanish graphic. My problem is I can’t seem to be able to add accents to words in Motion. I know many of you have never had to use an accent since they are not used in English. But this has become a very big problem with my client.

Can any body help me with this???

Type Option-E, then the next character you type will have an accent: Como estás? Muy bien, y tú?

Also, go to your system prefs, open up international, and click “Show input in menu bar.” Typically a US flag will show up in the menu, and if you click this you’ll get an option to show character palette. That’s a useful tool when using the option key does help.
