    Hi All,

    I’ve had numerous failed attempts at exporting a sequence from FCP 6.0.1 to 5.1.4 tonight. My sequence is at AJA Uncompressed 8 bit 4:2:2, at about 22 min. long.

    When I export either with XML version 1 or 2, upon import in FCP 5.1.4 my sequence is completely incomplete. The only clips that come through are my title slate and one clip that has a speed effect. I’ve tried the different permutations of options for export (including metadata, including outside media, etc.) and no dice. I’ve made my sequence clips independent. I’ve even tried exporting the timeline as a DV-NTSC instead.

    Any ideas why this is happening?

    Try version 3. What filters/plug-ins do you have on your footage?

    For the most part, every clip as the Three-Way Color Corrector on it. I’ll try version 3 when I get into work this morning.
