I’m having some issues with motion files after upgrading the production suite. Any older motion file that has text in it that is unrendered in final cut is not being recognized. In fact if I drag an older Motion file such as a super, I get an error saying the file is unrecognized. If there isn’t any text in it there are no problems. The only work around I’ve been able to find is to render the movies out in Motion and bring them in. The strange thing is that this is happening on two different, completely independent systems. Any ideas?

    Thanks.

Send this in feedback to Apple… Sure sounds like a bug to me.
