I work with Premiere CS3. I have had this problem ever since I purchased the Production Suite Premium a year ago. Sooner or later, the images in both the source and timeline monitors become mere monochromatic representatives of the images that should be appearing. The details in the images disappear and all I see is a monitor filled with various flickering colors that vaguely represent what is actually happening in the footage. This is corrected when I close and re-open the program. Any ideas? Thanks.

sounds like the video card drivers aren’t right. might not need to be the most recent to work properly either.
