New HD Plus card. Working primarily in SD. Whenever I have genlock plugged into the card, I’m getting occasional hits when laying back to Digibeta. Unplugging genlock and setting Digi to Input Video fixes this, but what could be causing it? A bad DA feeding genlock / reference signal breaking up? Nothing’s changed in a facility except a Kona SD card to the HD Plus upgrade – and the kona never had genlock problems.

    You’ve referenced the digi? Terminated?

Yup. Everything’s done right on a wiring standpont. that’s why I’m scratching my head.

what brand of Black gen are you using. I hope it’s not an ESE, as this is an unstable unit. AVID Adrenaline’s will never lock to an ESE, so I assume that the blackmagic would have the same issues.

No, it’s a big Textronix multiple sync generator – same on they’ve had in the facility for over 10 years. The only reason I wonder if the card is having problems is that all the other gear in house is fine, and the SD card I had in before locked to that sync no problems.
