problems with playback in fcp.
hi,
i am new to fcp. up until now i have been editing and playing back my sequence with no problems – all my motion and effects playback on my canvas at real time. tonight i must have done something – when i playback my video the effects and motion are REALLY jumpy and skip. also – for some reason my mouse(pointer) is blinking when my sequence is playing and won’t always let me stop when i hit the space bar (a big white and black ‘X” comes on my canvas). i have tried adjusting my playback settings, but nothing seems to work – any advice?

Try these:
1) Go to the menu and select VIEW>EXTERNAL>ALL FRAMES.
2) Click in the % box above the image and select FIT TO WINDOW.
