  • Problems with Photos after Upgrade

I recently upgraded to Motion2. I am running a first generation G5 dual 2Ghz with the original graphics card (I know, I know – I have to upgrade the card.)

I was in the midst of cutting a documentary and there are a lot of photographs with moves on them which I did in motion (launched out of FCP). Many of those photographs are larger than the 1248 pixel limit, however, the program simply cropped the photos and I was able to work on them originally with no problem.

Now the photographs are completely distorted (smeared sideways – completely unrecognizable). When I go into motion to try to work on them the program crashes almost immediately. Yet before I upgraded my FCP STudio Motion and FCP were able to see and render these phototgraphs fine. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
