  • Problems with object buffers when net rendering

    Hi!

I have a scene that needs some object buffers for postproduction work in After Effects. I have now discovered that my object buffer-files and my .aec-file don’t seem to render out when I’m using the net render. All my other passes works perfect. Anyone knows why? And I really have to use a farm for rendering this project, else it will take weeks.

I use a net render for every project. I have never had this problem. Make sure each object buffer in your multi pass has the correct ID (ob 1, ob2 ob3) etc which corresponds to the tag on each individual object.

Also make sure you are saving your OBs in the same folder as your main pass.

    Thanks for your answer!

The weird thing is when I render one frame on my computer all the multi pass layers and the object buffers end up in the same folder. But when I net render it the object buffers is gone.

My ID’s are correct. Where can I change where to save the object buffers? Shouldn’t they always end up in my specific folder for the multi pass?
