Problems with Mp4 Audio in Movie Studio Platinum 13
When I bring in a video clip that is Mp4 into my Movie Studio, it only brings in the Video and not the Audio. The Mp4 in question plays fine in a media player such as VLC or Windows Media Player with both Video and Audio. This video was filmed on someone’s phone. If I bring in different Mp4 clips other than the set I was just sent, both the Video and Audio show up in Movie Studio. Any reason why these new Mp4’s will play in a media player with Video and Audio but Movie Studio only brings in the Video only? I’ve had to load the Mp4’s into my Sonar Audio program, save the Audio then import it into Movie Studio. Pain in the butt.

The pain in the butt is because this video was filmed on someone’s phone !
You forgot to attach an image of media info for the recordings.
Mobile phones use variable fps to adjust exposure – it’s not good for editing –
try – before editing – convert your footage to constant fps with the Handbrake program!
