  Problems with MovCaptioner and DVDSP

  Hello everyone:

  I’m exporting a caption file from MovCaptioner (version 3.7) to use in DVDSP (version 4). I export as Spruce STL. When I import into DVDSP, all the captions seem to be separated by 2 frames. This causes the captions to “blink” before the next one appears, and over time it becomes out of sync with the video. I have exported the video from FCP and am using the reference file. Do I need to use Compressor in order for the captions to be aligned correctly? Or am I missing a step in MovCaptioner? When I preview in MovCaptioner, all the captions are lined up and timed correctly.
