Problems with Media Manager
I am sure people get questions about Media Manager all the time and I have tried to troubleshoot this myself in the manual and in other forums but I am still not finding the answer I need.
Basically, I am trying to streamline my footage for a reel. I captured the tapes using capture now and have since gone back and pulled everything I want to use into a sequence. I have tried to use media managers copy option with the delete unused media option selected. I get a new clip but I am not getting a clip that incorporates exactly what I have in my timeline.
I have also tried to use the dv stop/start marking system and have made subclips from these markers. This too gives me subclips but they don’t necessarily correspond with everything in my timeline.
If someone has an idea of what I am doing wrong or knows a resource I can use to figure it out I’d be very grateful. I have a lot to log and not enough time to do it! Thanks.
