Im importing media 100 EDL’s into Final Cut Pro, using the Sony 3600 edl which final cut recognizes. i see the clips in the listed in the folder to be recaptured. I select all, and hit “Batch”, which final cut starts to do. The video deck im using is the JVC, JV-BRDV6000UB. The problem is…the timecode for the first clip is 00:30:47:04, but final cut is sending the Deck to the wrong timecode, and rewinding all the way to the beginning of the tape to 00:00:53:00. Now in the clip window all the clips have their media in and out points listed. why is the software and or deck going to the wrong timecode? and is there a solution or workaround to this problem?

    any help is welcome

I think you should try CMX 3600 for your EDL. It’s been a while since I had to do this, so I’m not sure.
