I am having problems getting P2 footage into FCP 6.0.6. Am using Log and Transfer, and have Contents files and Last Clip file. FCP is seeing some clip but not others and one entire card file it says the file structure is invalid even tho it seems to have all the necessary components. Any ideas?

You might try Raylight for Mac ($150), it is a lot less picky about the file structure, quicker than Log and Transfer, and also imports your metadata into the bin so you can search and sort on clip info. See https://dvfilm.com/raylight/mac

Thanks. I’ll give it a try.

I am having the same problems getting P2 footage into FCP lastest version. Am using Log and Transfer, and have Contents files from one card and not the second. It says the file structure is invalid even tho it seems to have all the necessary components. Any other ideas than the 150$ for raylight ? Thanks

Do you have the lastclip.txt file bundled with the contents folder in a single folder?

Well, I do now, first my mistake was to load the two cards in the same folder…

That is why you use a program like ShotPut Pro. It does all the work for you and you won’t have problems log and transferring.
