    Hi there,

I started an edit on Adobe Premiere Pro on my PC but want to continue that edit on my Mac using Final Cut Pro.

In Premiere I exported an EDL file and put that in a folder along with all the other media that I used for that project.

When I go in to Final Cut Pro and import the EDL file, and connect all the media, some of the clips in the timeline start and finish in the wrong places.

If someone knows why this is and can help me out I would really appreciate it!

I’ve had that same issue with Avid EDLs inside FCP as well. What version of Premiere are you on? If you’re in CS5, you can export a FCP XML instead. That’s more accurate and brings in more effects. That would be your best bet if you’re on CS5.
