  problems with editing HDV

  i am editing a TV program shot with a sony HVR-V1E on a PC with 4GB ram and an intel Core2 Quad processor, however i dont have a 64bit OS.
  When editing in premiere pro CS3 i see this light red area appearing ovver the clips on the timeline and its not the ‘need to render’ red line. The audio also disappears every now and then but this is only when previewing the original audio is still intact. Any ideas?

  Ok i just amended the project from 25p to 50i. The audio issue is gone but i still the light red region anytime i scrub through and it doesnt go away.
