We’re running an FCP edit suite with an 8-bay Sanman Raid Tower, with SCSI connection. For some reason we can’t get the drive to mount onto the desktop, despite the tower booting up correctly so wouldn’t appear to be an issue with one of the drives. Have tried rebooting system, even tried the cable on another array and it’s mounting fine. Any suggestions?

Does Disk Utility see it? Have you checked with the manufacture for firmware or driver updates? Also, make sure you SCSI card has the latest firmware and drivers.

Has this RAID mounted on this Mac (or another computer) before? Or is it new & are you trying to mount it for the 1st time? Could be that it’s not initialized.
