Problems with Constraints in Cinema 4D R13
Posted by Janek Prähofer on January 16, 2012 at 7:26 pmHi,
I’m confused about Constraints. Is there any Way to get Object A moved and Objects B, C & D follows Object A as shown in the Image below? I’m using Cinema 4D R13. I’ve tried Constraints, Joints etc. but nothing seems to work out! I apreciate your help!
Thx in Advance

thank you for your fast Reply!
Basically your Solution is right but i don’t want Object A to be moved by the Cube. I want to move Object A itself and the other Objects should follow. Is it pure Math or is there some Way to solve it with Xpresso, Ik or Constraints? Here’s a little Example i found: https://en.etudes.ru/utils/dl.php?file=/en/mov/mov028/EtudesRu_kempe.avi&name=%DD%F2%FE%E4%FB%20:%20%D2%F0%E8%F1%E5%EA%F6%E8%FF%20%F3%E3%EB%E0&size=Large&rand=9745209

Most folks try to over analyze these kind of setups, when they’re usually quite simple to set up with IK.
