Problems with BR HD50 firmware update 0109
Hey, all…
We just did the update from 0108 firmware for the BR HD50’s to the 0109 firmware and now the updated decks aren’t recognized by FCP 6.0.5.
Since JVC doesn’t have the 0108 firmware on their site, I can’t “go home anymore”.
Anyone else have this problem or have the older 0108 firmware they could send me so I could troubleshoot this some more? I’ve got 5 decks down and JVC is scratching their collective heads….

Update-
The problem was not JVC’s firmware, it was a moron of a student who kept plugging in the firewire backwards and blowing the HDV board because the computer buss power was going in to the deck.
Thought everyone should know…
