Problems with Boris Graffiti 5 in FCP. SOS!!!
Hello fellow Boris Graffiti users:
I’m a newbie on the Creative Cow. Moo! Moo! (yay! yay!)
We just got a new Boris Graffi for the Final Cut few days ago.
I’m am very experienced in Boris in the Media 100. I know that whenever I edit Boris, I always see the video that I’m working Boris on…so I can see what I’m doing on Boris (text, animations, etc.) over the video. For those who don’t know Media 100 well, the video track ALWAYS shows up automatically whenever I click to edit Boris.
Issue #1: However, I do not see that happen in the Final Cut Pro. I can’t see the video at all. Even if I add a new track, I’d have to “import” the video file (which I think is totally ridiculous!). And even if I imported the video (whatever length it is), it’s still ONE FRAME duration. (I’ve already reply-posted that concern in other person’s questions about one frame duration).
Please help quickly, any tips or advice would be very apprecited!
Issue #2: Also…I’m having problem with the duration length in Graffiti 5. It is always in ONE FRAME duration even though the Graffiti clip in the FCP sequence is like 5 seconds long.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem that I’m using Graffiti on FCP? I’ve tried few troubleshooting tips to the letter on Graffiti manual. No luck still. And tried doing few tips offered by the Boris forum which I posted yesterday…still no luck in getting it to work.
I’ve addressed two issues in the Boris forum. Some folks suggested that I try using this FCP forum and see if I can get any help from fellow FCP users.
What I did was I tried to drag it down to the FCP Sequence and change the length of it (by draging in or out)…and then double click it to edit it to see if timeline length changed..and it STILL in the one frame mode.
Happy Thursday,
Deaf Producer
