I’m having a little problem with some footage in DVCPro 50. I create a composition in AE 720×576 (PAL) and pixel aspect ratio D1 DV/PAL (1,07)
I do my work with this footage in AE without any problem. But my headaches begin when I discover that the size of the image is slightly narrower. I mean that I can see less image in both sides than in my original captured clip in Final Cut Pro. I have captured these footage with the same settings and created a sequence in FCP, but the size of the clip that’s been exported from AE doesn’t match with the size of the image in FCP.
Sorry that I explain myself so badly but I have absolutely no clue where the problem can be. I certainly don’t understand anything!
I hope somebody can help me with this issue.
    Thanks!

A million Thanks Dave!!! The problem’s been solved. Exactly as you said my settings regarding pixel aspect ratio in the interpret footage settings didn’t match my aspect ratio in the composition settings. Didn’t even know these interpret footage settings existed!
