    Hey all

New to this, but unfortunately client wants an authored dvd asap, and im having some difficulty here!

I have a some motion graphics that i have rendered out of AE as 720×576 (PAL widescreen pixels). Now I have gone in to try and author this, and for some reason the authored dvd clips the SIDES of the clip when played on a tv (both widescreen and standard 4:3) but when played on a computer’s dvd player, the whole clip is visible.

I have set the dvd project as PAL Widescreen, and have interpreted the quicktime as 720×576 16:9 pixels.

What am i missing here. You’d think that this should be pretty straight forward but i have tried everything, and nothing is working!

    Please help

    Cheers

It’s tough to assist when we don’t know what authoring software you are using.

If you exported from AE with an anamorphic squish, probably something in the authoring is not flagged correctly as 16:9 or Wide. It sounds like you are in Pan/Scan mode, which would cut off the sides upon playback.
