    alright here’s my problem

When trying to author a DVD w/ LPCM audio, or with 2 audio sources regardless of file type, I get a DVD that plays the audio back fine but the chapters and video are all garbled. Like it’ll play fine for a minute, then slow motion, then like 10x faster then it should be, etc etc.

Basically the video is all over the place, but the audio works fine. Any idea on WTF is doing this?

THe only time I got it to work was with a show where I transferred a VHS to DVD-R using a SA Set-top DVD Recoreder, transferred those files straight to DVDlabPro with no editing, make menus and burned. For some reason that one worked w/ the LPCM audio. I’m using Sony Vegas 7.0 to edit all video and audio and occasioanlly Sony Sound Forge to edit audio.

Could editing the files in Vegas/Soundforge be messing up the authoring? I tried re-making all the audio files in Ulead and got the same exact results.

    Thanks,

    -Alex
