  Problems videoing with a Canon NTSC ZR50MC camera

  Forgive me if I am in the wrong place to ask this question but I’m desperate to solve my problem. I am able to transfer video from the camera to a disk but I am unable to view thru the lens. When I try to record it seems the hardware is working,,it shows minutes expired and when I take individual photos it sounds like the shutter is working. When I examine the tape there is no image. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
