    I am looking for a replacement lamp for a 6k HMI but am having a problem sourcing one. Any suggestions?

    BulbAmerica?
    B&H Photo?
    Osram Direct?

    These are the usual sources for HMI globes. If no one at those places can help, maybe they can point you to someone who can.
