Problems out putting to tape
Every time I try to output using Print to video I get a message on my JVC HD 110 saying no “DV signal” even as the sequence is playing bars and tone ect. If I try to output using edit to tape I get a error message saying I am trying to out put in a compression that is different from the sequence settings…! I check and everything looks exactly the same. I am transitioning editor and I am sure this is some setting I missed…..

What are your settings in Audio Video Settings > A/V Devices? Sounds like something is set wrong… Also, have you tried trashing the prefs – just in case? It wouldn’t hurt.
