  • Problems on HD import into our Avid Adrenaline?

I’m rendering out some of my first graphics in HD for our new Avid Adrenaline and have seen on here that you can’t render the alpha built in like we normally can. My main problem though is that they haven’t been able to find a way to import my files and have them look right. There are 3 rings that flip into a part of a logo in my project and they are almost steppy and look like they are having field issues. We are viewing it on an LCD monitor. Anybody had a problem like this? Just looking for any helpful advice. I have set up my files as 1920 x 1080 at 29.97 as well as 1920 x 1080 at 59.94 to see if that was the problem, doesn’t seem to be. I’m also using square pixels.

A day or two ago, this was asked about going into the Nitris. You may want to check that. To go into my Nitris, I use Quiktime Animation codec which will support an alpha channel if needed. I don’t know much about an Adrenaline/MC, but in the DS capture window, you need to set it to “Graphics”/RGB levels so that it properly translates the video levels from RGB (AE and Animation codec) back into the Avid’s YUV world.
