Problems grading BMCC footage
Hey, I was wondering if some of you could help me with a problem I’m having in Resolve 10. I’m trying to achieve a certain look with my footage but I’ve been struggling with it for a few days now.
I’ve colour corrected and have also got a couple of nodes that are keeping the skin tones orange, and the greenery green. I’m currently using Captain Hook’s Vibe LUT (on a node after the primary colour correction, skin and grass nodes), and I’ve got a final node that’s got a small S curve, colour balancing (if necessary) and decreasing the saturation a tad.
I filmed on a BMCC with a Sigma 18-35mm in Prores. I also used an IR-cut filter and the Genus Eclipse Variable ND filter.
Here are some LOG frames of what I filmed:

Here’s a few examples of what I’m going for. To my eye the image looks slightly washed-out and hazy, but not sure how to replicate this in Resolve:
If someone could point me in the right direction I would be extremely grateful!
Thanks for reading 🙂
