    ok, so whenever i export a project the first few seconds have really gappy sound and then it get better. i’ve tried all the different setting i can find, including using ffdshow and not using ffdshow, and i’m out of ideas.
    help please!

    Are the sound files in mp3 form? AE doesn’t like mp3’s, so convert mp3’s to wav in the project, then render.

    Generally exporting is a bad idea, limited options, so render. “Ctrl M” brings up the render Que, double click the blue codec, then it opens a dialogue box with sound options (and many others). Rendering is always better than exporting, IMHO.
