Problems exporting to DVD
I have a Gateway laptop that runs on a Centrino M processor – a little over a year old. I know that my version of PPro is kinda old (7.0) but it does every I need it to do and I have had no problems with it until now. I have tried some of the suggestions people have given me regarding my inability to export to DVD. I have downloaded a new media encoder and made sure that my version of XP is up to date.
I have absolutely no problems exporting back to tape (Digital 8) and I have no problems making and copying DVD’s using other programs that I own. Yet, I still get the following error: Could not complete the last command because: DVD err: (DVD Err, -224)
I need to get this problem rectified.

It has always been my preference to render an avi file out of Premiere and then encode to dvd compliant files as a separate step. it takes more time but I prefer it as a process.
