Problems Exporting
I’m working on the biggest project I’ve had to do to date which is a promotional video for a camp and I just finished the 22min 11sec video and I went to export it out of Premiere CS3 into Encore CS3 and the transition worked flawlessly but the quality of all of the moving images in the video are shot. Here’s an example.
I’ve read about losing an entire field which is kind of what this looks like to me but not only am I not sure whether or not that is correct but I also have no idea how to remedy the situation and I need to ASAP.
Here’s what I’m working with:
Sony Vaio VGN-A150
2G RAM
250G Hard Drive (internal)
but the project is located on a 1T external drive.Export Settings:
NTSC, 720×480
29.97 drop frame [fps]
Lower
Quality 5.0
48 kHz
16 bit
PCM
VBR, 1 Pass, Min 1.50, Target 4.00, Max 7.00 [Mbps]Granted I’m not quite sure what half of this means but I’m wondering if I should use CBR. I’ve read that constant should be used for short videos and I wasn’t sure if 20+ min was considered short.
If anyone can help with settings or can simply recommend a preset that works well, that will be greatly appreciated.
