Problems downloading and opening vids in Vegas from vdownloader
Hi,
I am having issues downloading videos from youtube using vdownloader (I’ve tried other downloading programs and they are always a bust from the outset). When the download starts in vdownloader I often get an error message or if the clips do seem to download I am unable to open them in Sony Vegas for editing. I get an error window saying the file is probably corrupt. This just started happening recently. Not sure where the problem lies – Vegas? Vdownloader? Windows? I’ve tried installing new versions of vdownloader. I’ve used different internet browsers to get the clips. Nothing seems to work. Thanks for any help you can give. -

I’ve been using FreeStudio 5 (it’s free) for a long time and remain very happy with it.
I save my downloads in HD mp4 format which load very easily into Vegas.
All you need is a recent version of QuickTime player and you’re all set.
