    Problems converting 10 bit BM .avi files to .mov

    We’re having some major problems converting 10 bit BM (PAL) .avi files to 10 bit BM .mov files on our Windows platform.

    We’ve tried several software packages, Ie. Adobe Premiere and QT, but for projects more than ca. 30 seconds the whole conversion crashes at the end.

    We’ve tried it on different computers and with different software. We’ve talked to others who’ve had the same problems.

    Any idea what we can do to fix this problem? Our Mac clients need .mov files and we’re running Windows here in our facility.

    Forgot to mention, we’re working in Standard Definition.
