Problems choosing shutter for this shot
how would you guys do this shot?
Obviously its motionblurred – Im thinking slow shutter, but I dont seem to find a god setting.
I have tried 25p 50th sec and 100th sec – both are to blurred, Please help
Luckily this was just a quick test – but Im shooting several of these fast dollyshots in a day and Im desperately seeking advice………

You might consider posting to YouTube.
Vimeo will play your 25p clip at 24fps, therefore dropping frames.
YouTube will play it at full 720p25 using H.264 and at a higher data rate than Vimeo’s On2VP6.
They may even encoding faster than Vimeo unless you’ve paid for a Vimeo Plus account which you can’t do if you’re not in the USA. -

COW sent me your YouTube link. I can tell you it looked better on YouTube since there weren’t any dropped frames. Vimeo seems to drop frames in the 25p to 24p conversion whereas YouTube plays it at 25p.
It doesn’t look that bad at all but this is an aesthetic thing. If temporal resolution is really that critical than you might want to shoot it at 50p (shutter 1/100) as a test and post that. Keep in mind the faster the shutter speed the greater the likelihood some will start to see the “Saving Private Ryan” effect. 50p will give you more temporal resolution to work with though. That’s one reason why it’s used for sports.
