    Hi ya’ll-

Just wondering if anybody is having the same issues capturing from a BR-HD50U deck. I’m using that deck to come into my Kona LHe card via the analog video inputs. Ever since installing the new version of quicktime (7.3) I get flashing timecode and the vtr/ok keeps switching on and off. I’m using the Aja Kona DVCProHD codec as well. When I boot into an earlier OS (with quicktime 7.1.6 and FCP 6.0.1) it doesn’t happen.

So, I’m pretty sure this is either a problem with the new quicktime bugging out or the version of firmware on my deck not being compatible. Not sure if I have a question here beyond whether or not anybody else is having this problem and if anybody has the word on any quicktime updates in the near future. I wish there was a way to go back to 7.2.
