Problems capturing HDCAM footage
Hello,
I’m having issues with HDCAM footage shot on a Sony HDW-730S and captured on a Sony J-H1 deck. The clips are coming out letter-boxed rather than filling the anamorphic screen.
What capture settings, when uploading HDCAM footage with Final Cut 6, are needed for a correct 16-9 aspect ratio?
Currently using an imac from a few years ago.

You shouldn’t have posted this question in the “Basic” forum.
What video-card, and what capture preset have you used?
What setting do you get in the QT Info window or in FCs Browser?
I think there is some pixels miss interpretation somewhere.
