    Problems burning 16:9 DVD

    Help! I can’t seem to find the settings needed to get the correct aspect ratio out of Encore. I am using version 1.0 (I think–I’ve had it for over 2 years).

    I am capturing a project in Premier Pro 1.5 in 16:9 from a Sony Z1U camera. It captures and edits fine in PP. I have exported a “movie” file using all of the transcode settings in PP. Then I import into Encore and attempt to burn a DVD. Each time the image is either (1) all of the widescreen image squeezed into 4:3 or (2) the center of the widescreen image is displayed in a 4:3 ratio.

    ANY help would be appreciated.
