  • Problems batch transcoding – Arri Alexa via Resolve lite to MXF files for Avid MC

Posted by Thomas Yong on February 8, 2013 at 9:54 pm

I am having a problem getting my Davinci Resolve Lite to batch transcode my Arri Alexa Prores 4444 files to MXF (DNxHD36 8bit) files that I can ingest in my Avid MC.

I can only get it to transcode one file from my timeline which contains several files from my media pool. Does anyone have a suggestion?

    Cheers,
    Thomas

Sounds like your using single clip mode. Try individual source clips mode.

Arri also have a great whitepaper about transcoding with resolve on their site.

    Hi Dan,
Thanks for your reply. I guess my problem is that I can’t seem to select all the clips in the timeline. I can only select one and thus render out only one MXF file.

I can’t find the white paper. Do you have a link?

    Try This?

In the Deliver Tab Timeline, Right-click on the actual timecode numbers above the timeline, and hit select all.
