  Problems after install Windows codec

  Hi Folks

  A Client has given me some HD .mov file which I need to encode on my windows XP machine. He gave me the link for the codec. I’ve install it with no love.

  I get a black screen and audio. Shouldn’t the codec go into QT’s component file? Right now it being installed into the System32 windows file.

  Wish I had more info for you and I know this is a general problem but though someone might know where I’m going wrong
