October 24, 2011 at 3:48 amTo get it to work, I had to use the serial number provided by Sony for both the install and when launching NewBlue Titler Pro as a plugin within Vegas. If you try to launch the Titler from the Windows Start menu before you activate it within Sony Vegas, then that is when I got that error that would not accept the serial number Sony provided.

October 24, 2011 at 10:29 pmHere’s what Sony Customer Support told me:
“If you uninstall the Titler, reinstall it, and only enter the serial number when prompted during the installation process, you should not have that problem. This is an issue that has been brought to the attention of NewBlue, and we are anticipating an update from them in the very near future. However, in the meantime, if you only enter the serial number during the installation process and do not attempt to open any external registration engines, you should be able to use the plug-in within the Vegas software with no problem.”

October 25, 2011 at 12:49 pmAnyone try this from a free trial of the Vegas 11? I have Pro 8 looking to upgrade. I’ve downloaded it but it prompts me for a seriel number. I’ll see if they respond from their Facebook page unless anyone here has experience.
