Problems activating Avid 5.5 upgrade
Bought the Avid 5.5 upgrade.
Installed it.
Tried to activate, get a “KCAV: Activation code not from server” message.
Go through the avid online help and uninstall, reboot, install and reboot as recommended.
Still no dice.
Call 1800-800-avid, can’t get through without a support contract.
Really?
There isn’t any support for installing the damn program without BUYING supprt?
Unreal.
