Problems
Hello, im relatively new to fcp and have a problem. When i add my proress files to fcp they are all in great quality, though as soon as i add them to the timeline the quality changes and becomes very poor. Is this normal? At first i didnt mind and figured it would change back when i finnish but it does not. Am i missing something when im exporting?

When u add a clip to a NEW/Emty sequence let FCP match it up for you.
View video the proper way, with an i/o card feeding a TV or broadcast monitor. You can’t judge your video quality on the computer screen in FCP.Chris Tompkins
