    Hi there,

    I,ve been having problem fine-tuning the edges of my foreground video using the chroma key effect, n its driving me nutts. I use the avid express pro HD n really need you guys to help me out big tyme, thanks in advance.

    Use spectra matte instead.
    Or, use other applications.
    Or, first do a heavy CC on the clip, then the key, and use only the generated matte on a copy of the source.

    And of course, have a look at the footage to see how much spill you got.

    Spill surpession does wonders, as a background image in the same color tone as the key color.

    There are a zillion factors to a good key….

    I think Spectra is only in Media Composer.
    I mostly use After Effects with Keylight for more advanced keying.
    The Xpress Pro keyer is good for pretty basic keys, but other applications like After Effects/keylight, Primatte, etc… do a much better job.
