Problem with video effects. effects won’t work.
My vegas 7.0 started acting up yesterday. I had a video I was working on and, had added an jitter effect and was watching it. there was an area on the preview window that was not being effected by the jitter. I clicked it and it all went away. now I can’t get any kind of filters to work.
Help please! Thanks!

Try this..
Go to the “sony setup” vegas 7 directory..eg
(C:Program Files..Sony Setup..Vegas 7.0)
and click on “vegas70_enu” follow the instructions to repair
Vegas 7 and see if that helps.If not try resetting it by holding down the ctrl + shift keys
while launching vegas.Steve Rhoden

Turn OFF the “Split Screen View” – it’s a button just above the preview screen. Then look up that feature in the help file to see how it can assist in your editing.
