  Problem with subtitles: second line begins with a number

  Hey everyone
  I’m trying to make a DVD of Video I took while being on a trip
  I’m want to add subtitles of the time and date

  The problem is the subtitles look like this:

  HH:MM
  DD/MM/YYYY

  so a sample subtitle file would be:
  1 00:00:00:01 00:00:53:15 18:58
  27.08.2005

  problem is Adobe Encore treats the 27 as subtitle reference so I get script error
  is there a way to overcome this? like that in some subtitles formats you have the | character to represent a newline
