    Hi!
I’m trying to render some RED material, but I get the old “unable to allocate space for a 3996 x 4063 image buffer”

The thing is that when I bought my i7 920 processor and 12gbs of RAM, i though I wouldn’t have this problem any more. I have the multiprocessing turned on, with the following settings:

RAM to leave for other applications: 1.85GB

    Minimum allocation per CPU 0,5
    the slidebar in the middle
CPUs to leave for other applocations: 0

The disk cache is set to 24000mb. (in a folder on the same disk, I only have one at the moment).

Isn’t my computer good enough for this? I know 3996 x 4063 is a bit larger than 4K, but thats because I have some stuff in 3D space.

    Best regards,
    Hannes Paulsson
