    Hi All

    I am having a small problem with the preset browser. If I apply any effect and go to the preset browser the thumbnail windows are black. You can see the example effects are being applied however.
    I have made sure that preview over source is selected not preview over black.
    If I then apply a 2nd effect, usually this will display correctly and the first effect will also now display. Sometimes it takes the application of a third effect to kick the browser into life but more often than not 2 will do the trick.
    It does not seem to matter which effects I use.

    I have Sapphire version 6.12 FCP V7.03 OS 10.7.5 on a i7 Macbook Pro non retina high res non glossy screen model. Which has the Nvidia GT650M graphics card with 1Gig video ram.

    The plug-ins themselves all work totally fine, it is limited to the preview window.

    I have tried a re-install but that didn’t help

    Any thoughts ?

    Try downloading the latest maintenance release (6.13):

    https://www.genarts.com/support/downloads/sapphire/final-cut

    There are a few fixes related to the preset browser in that update. If you still have the problem after that, email support at genarts dot com and we’ll see what we can find out.

    Hi Alan

    OK got around to trying that, First loaded Film Effect – preset browser blank

    Then loaded Warp Fish Eye – All good

    Then back to Film Effect on the same clip and now all good too.

    Anyway just posted this so you can see what happens – will email support as you suggest.
